About Us

Runaway Checkbook is a site created by Paul Schnitman, President of Plan Ahead, Inc.  Plan Ahead, Inc. is a firm that offers money management and cash flow management services.  Paul Schnitman realized there was a significant number of Americans who did not have the tools necessary to manage their finances properly.  There are numerous books that try to teach people how to get their finances in order, but for some reason they are not working.

Paul Schnitman wanted to create a website that serves as a resource that people could go to and receive practical guidance on how to deal with financial issues that are affecting their lives.  He realized that one main cause of marital problems was lack of money or poor finances.  Paul Schnitman's hope is that lives will be changed because of what is presented in the Runaway Checkbook website.
